In the Berlin district of Buch on the northern edge of the city, Schlosskirche Buch is one of the most beautiful baroque sacred buildings in Berlin and Brandenburg, built between 1731 and 1736 according to the plans of architect Friedrich Wilhelm Dieterich.
On the bombing night of 18 November 1944 the church was massively destroyed and was subsequently reconstructed only partially. After extensive inwardly and externally renovation, the church has been appeared since the year 2000 in new splendor. The cemetery of the church probably serves as a burial place since the Middle Ages.
Directly behind the castle church extends the Dutch, French and English designed park of the 1964 demolished castle. The historic paths, the watercourses of the Panke and the entrance area were restored four years ago.
